‘aperture/bitter end’ is the new single from electronica artist naut – otherwise known as Darwen, UK based producer/instrumentalist Jordan Riding.

Existing in the electronica genre, naut’s music is an introspective fusion of recorded instruments, captured sounds & modular synthesizer flourishes mixed with programmed drums & atmospheric elements.

Previous releases from naut include debut album X Marks The Spot, released in March 2015, and follow up EP ‘I Hardly Know You, I Barely Know Myself’ released in March 2017.

Previous live sets have included support slots for the likes of Henge, Kapil Seshasayee, Shunya, Hot Vestry & Strange Bones, as well as 2 appearances at The Beat-Herder Festival on the billing with Max Cooper, Flamingods, Romare, Paddy Steer, James Holroyd & Factory Floor.

Previous radio airplay has included a 30 minute guest mix for Amazing Radio, as well as a featured track on Ross From Friends’ curated playlist for BBC Radio 1’s Wind Down.

‘aperture’ is taken from the forthcoming second naut album ‘a digital ocean of colour’, due for release late 2021 on Sunbird Records.
